Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another (1 John 4: 7-11).
In this foundational Kingdom teaching…”A Love That Never Fails,” Bishop Terrell L. Murphy returns the heart of the church back to the most important aspect of being a believer…AGAPE LOVE, which is self-sacrificing, voluntary and unconditional! God is Love. He who does not know Love does not know God, and the only way the world can know that we are Believers is by the Love we show one to another. Everything we do must have Love as its motive.
There are blessings hovering over you in the heavens that Love one to another will release. God’s Love gives us new life thus making us new creations in Him. If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from God: that he who loves God must love his brother also (1 John 4: 20-21). We’ve tried everything else…now let’s try A LOVE THAT NEVER FAILS!
