Get Connected

To serve is critical to the growth of the local church; God has ordained it to be this way.  It causes the body of God to be in harmony, sharing the effort, creating necessary relationships and growing spiritually all for the benefit of the kingdom. When you serve it supports the undergirding of the culture of the kingdom of God as well as facilitate responsible growth.  It is the key to the heart of God that all believers serve. Where you serve and how you serve contributes to the growth and accountability of believers.  More importantly, serving puts you in a position to be like or imitate Jesus who set the example while here on the earth.  Just as the Son of Man came not to be waited on but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many [the price paid to set them free]. (Matthew 20:28 AMPC).

Serving in the local church creates an organic support group.  Within that support group relationships are established, grow and blossom into lifelong friendships.  This bolsters spiritual growth, accountability, Biblical learning and knowledge of the culture.  When we serve within the church or our serving goes beyond the walls of the church, it creates humility within the believer. It takes our focus off of ourselves and place our efforts toward others.  If you would like to find out more information about serving email us.
